Q: Why do I have to move my web site? What does website migration entail?
A: The website migration service that we are offering is free of charge (within a certain limit). We will move your web site(s) to our super–modern cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from personal experience that changing hosting providers can result in lost info and unnecessary network downtime. Because of this, we’ll perform all that for you for free!We have qualified administrators whose only assignment is to make certain that your site functions precisely as it did on your previous hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in transferring custom–built web sites, as well as web sites that are based upon popular applications such as Joomla™ and WordPress.

Q: Website migration sounds like a lot of work. How long is it going to take?
A: While we cannot give you a precise ETA, since there are plenty of variables, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll try our very best to migrate your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the website content is not large).

Q: Do you require something from me before you start moving my web site?
A: We don’t request any personal information. We’ll need, though, the login information for your current hosting account as well as the name of the site that you’d like to transfer.

Q: The login info for my hosting account is sensitive. How can I trust you?
A: User privacy is one of our top concerns – that’s why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–level digital certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial operations to protect the data that we obtain on the Internet. And we also have a detailed and strict Privacy Policy, which outlines the types of information that we collect.

Q: Will my site be unavailable during the transfer?
A: Nah. Your website will continue to be fully operational during the migration. As soon as everything is done on our end, we’ll tell you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will have to do is change your domain’s DNS settings.

Q: Will my old hosting provider need to do anything?
A: Nah. We’ll never contact your web hosting provider about anything at all. They won’t be aware of the website transfer either.

Q: Does it make any difference what platform my current hosting provider is using?
A: Yep. We support all common Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based hosting platforms, as we don’t offer Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Additionally, we don’t support proprietary web site building and management tools like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
